Summer Programs

Monthly Programs

The Breathitt County Public Library offers many educational and informational programs.

·         Toddler's Group is held each Friday at 11:30am for children ages 0-5. Children listen to stories, make crafts, watch a short video and have a treat. The program usually lasts about an hour.

·         Once a month a Saturday Theme Storytime is held at 1:00pm for children ages 0-7. Children listen to stories, make crafts, have a treat and watch a short video. This program usually lasts for an hour.

·         An Adult Book Club meets one day a month and discusses the book that was chosen for that month. The books that are chosen are typically chosen by the individuals who participate in the book club. Typically the book club meets on the last Monday of each month at 5:00pm.

Occasional Programs

·         An occasional genealogical workshop is arranged and facilitated by Director Stephen Bowling.
